5,000 young people and 88,000 people in the US die each year from alcohol-related car crashes, homicides, alcohol poisoning, and other injuries such as falls, burns, and drowning.

Each year, more than 190,000 young people go to an emergency room for alcohol-related injuries.

100% is an effort of Oregon communities to prevent youth alcohol use.  The project helps community members come together to implement proven steps to prevent youth drinking.  The 100% project is funded by the National Institutes on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism to develop more effective ways to prevent youth alcohol use.
